As security risks grow across people, assets, and supply chains, organizations are prioritizing leaders who combine real-world experience with globally validated expertise.
To decode what employers truly value today, #ProSecure conducted a focused analysis of 200 CSO/Head of Security job postings across India, the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East & Africa.
The insights are clear:
• 61% of employers list CPP as a preferred or desirable qualification which is a strong signal that global certifications increasingly outweigh unverified experience.
• 5% of roles make CPP mandatory, especially in high-governance or compliance-critical environments.
• 34% do not mention CPP, reflecting organizations still anchored in local experience, legacy hiring patterns, or sector-specific norms.
At #ProSecure, data-driven intelligence sits at the heart of every program we design. This CPP audit is part of our commitment to aligning employer expectations with professional competencies, ensuring our coaching is not just exam-oriented but truly career-relevant.
